Ed is a highly successful recruitment entrepreneur, after graduating from Loughborough University, Ed joined an AIM listed recruiter, quickly became a top performer and was then promoted into a leadership role. In 2008 Ed founded a recruitment group, which he led for 8 years and grew to revenues of £21M, with operations in UK, Middle East and Asia. In 2016 Ed exited this business via an MBO and founded Bishop Rock Partners to focus on utilising his commercial and industry knowledge to fill the gap identified and build a market leading Search and Selection brand.

Ed had the opportunity to offer something back to the recruitment sector by being invited to co-chair the industry body APSCo. This role focused on enabling recruitment businesses to be forward thinking and overcoming challenges within the sector.

Ed loves spending time with his family, two daughters and wife, plus his wider family group. He also is very much into his cars, for his sins, and has always been a petrol head. He used to have decent rugby skills, which have gone a little cold over the years, but he very much still enjoys watching the game! And if he isn’t spending time with his family, being a petrol head or watching rugby, you can find him spending time with his small group of very good friends!
